Project HUB-360 is scientific coordinator of the forth edition of Nanotechnology and New Materials Square within the reference fair for the manufacturing industry in Italy: MECSPE, held in Parma from 22nd to 24th march 2018. It is an international event dedicated to industrial applications of nanotechnology, the only one hosted by a manufacturing industry fair.
Nanotechnology Square hosted cutting-edge companies working in this field, which presented innovative solutions, processes and/or tools suited for several industrial sectors. The final aim is to respond to the need for innovation of the manufacturing industry, acting as a bridge between the same industry and nanotechnology.
MECSPE visitors, which have been more than 53.000 this year, come from varied industrial sectors (automotive, electronics, chemistry, textile, biomedical, aerospace, and many others) and they are R&D Managers, Production Managers and Company Owners.

Speeches encompassed innovative solutions and proccesses presentation, new European project introductions, nanotechnology, open innovation and much more.
Nanotech Video Challenge
Nanotech Video Challenge is dedicated to all companies and research centers operating in nanotech and new materials fields. The selected videos have been broadcasted on MECSPE’s screens for the entire event and the best tape has been awarded within Nanotechnology and New Materials Square.
Nanotech Video Challenge 2018 winner is “Smart Windows from MAAT Project – Nanotechnology for environment and health” by Dhitech.
nano2Start is dedicated to startups and spin-offs operating in fields of nanotechnology and new materials with industrial applications. The selected companies won a customized desk to exhibit within Nanotechnology and New Materials Square and the best solution applied to the manufacturing sector has been awarded on the spot.
